Mariah: My mission is to honor my mothers strength during her battle and survival of Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. This was a journey that I witnessed firsthand and I saw how it deeply affected her and our family. Seeing this, I aim to bring the effects this disease has on individuals and loved ones to light, through spreading awareness at events and bringing the community together to support our cause. By sharing my moms story, I hope to raise funds to support others facing similar challenges, and build a society committed to finding a cure.                                
                                
Sofia: My mission is to honor my mom's bravery during her journey in beating cancer, while also bringing awareness to the emotional and mental stress a diagnosis can cause. My mom was able to beat cancer and be cancer free for over ten years, I still see how her being restricted from normal childhood activities affects her now. Seeing first hand, that even when you beat cancer, the things you experience during treatment will still mentally affect you later down the road. That's why, through sharing my expirence with my mom's story, I hope to educate people how their donations will help kids feel seen and also help family members process the trauama that a deadly disease can fabricate.
